Description

This easy Vanilla Latte recipe allows you to create a delicious, indulgent drink at home with just a few simple ingredients. Perfect for satisfying your coffee cravings, it’s quick to make and even more delightful to sip!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons half and half cream, or sweetened condensed milk
  • Cold pre-brewed coffee, instant coffee, or instant espresso

Instructions

  1. Fill a mug or glass with ice cubes.
  2. Add the vanilla syrup and half and half cream or sweetened condensed milk to the glass.
  3. Pour cold pre-brewed coffee, instant coffee, or espresso into the mug, filling the remainder of the glass.
  4. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Enjoy your homemade Vanilla Latte!

Notes

  • To make simple syrup: Bring 2 cups of water to a simmer. Add 2 cups of sugar and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool completely. Store unused syrup in a container in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
  • To make homemade vanilla syrup: Heat ½ cup simple syrup to a low simmer. Add ¼ cup brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat, then add 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract (Mexican vanilla preferred). Store the syrups in squeeze bottles for easy dispensing.
  • To avoid watered-down coffee, make coffee ice cubes using an ice cube tray!
