Description

This Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich combines three delicious cheeses and perfectly toasted bread, creating the ultimate comfort food that’s crispy on the outside and melty on the inside.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices artisan bread (ciabatta, French, sourdough, etc.)
  • 4 tbsp mayo (divided)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 oz. Havarti cheese, sliced (divided)
  • 2 oz. mild cheddar cheese, sliced (divided)
  • 2 oz. Muenster cheese, sliced (divided)

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Slather the bread slices with mayo on one side (1 tbsp per slice).
  3. Add butter to the griddle or pan and allow it to melt.
  4. Place two slices of bread, mayo-side down, on the buttered griddle.
  5. Top each slice of bread with 1 oz of Havarti, cheddar, and Muenster cheese.
  6. Place the remaining slices of bread, mayo-side up, on top of the cheese.
  7. Cook the sandwiches until the bread is golden brown and crispy on the bottom, about 2 minutes. Carefully flip the sandwiches over and cook for another 2 minutes on the other side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the pan and enjoy!
