Description
A fresh twist on the classic tuna salad, spiced with curry powder and sweetened with honey or mango chutney, all wrapped in a flour tortilla with crisp veggies. A perfect, quick, and satisfying meal for lunchboxes or a speedy lunch!
Ingredients
- For the Tuna Salad:
 - 2 cans (7 oz/198 g) oil-packed tuna, drained
 - ⅓ cup (75 ml) mayonnaise
 - ¼ cup (40 g) finely diced red onion
 - ¼ cup (35 g) finely diced celery
 - 1 tbsp finely diced sweet pickles
 - ½ tsp curry powder
 - 4 tsp (20 ml) honey or mango chutney
 - For the Wraps:
 - 4 flour tortillas, 10 inches (25 cm) in diameter
 - 2 cups (50 g) Boston lettuce leaves
 
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the drained tuna with mayonnaise, red onion, celery, pickles, and curry powder. Season with pepper to taste.
 - Spread the honey or mango chutney on one half of each tortilla.
 - Cover with lettuce leaves, then spread the tuna salad over the lettuce.
 - Fold the ends of the tortilla towards the center and roll tightly to form a wrap.
 - Wrap each tortilla in parchment paper, twisting the ends to seal. Cut the wraps in half.
 - Serve immediately, or wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
 
Notes
- For an extra crunch, try adding chopped cucumbers or bell peppers.
 - You can swap the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
 - If using mango chutney, adjust the sweetness level to your liking.
