Description

This Strawberry Tiramisu gives a refreshing twist to the classic Italian dessert with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone, and sweet strawberries. Light, fruity, and irresistibly delicious, this no-bake dessert is perfect for any occasion, offering a balance of richness and freshness in every bite!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • ½ cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whip the Cream: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugar together until stiff peaks form.
  2. Mix the Mascarpone: Add the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract to the whipped cream, and mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Prepare the Strawberry Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with the strawberry jam, stirring to coat the berries evenly.
  4. Layer the Tiramisu: Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of a serving dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers. Spoon half of the strawberry mixture over the mascarpone layer.
  5. Repeat Layers: Repeat the layers with another round of coffee-dipped ladyfingers, the remaining mascarpone mixture, and the remaining strawberry mixture, finishing with the mascarpone layer on top.
  6. Chill: Cover the tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.
  7. Serve: Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder for a finishing touch.

Notes

  • You can substitute the strawberry jam with fresh strawberry puree if you prefer a smoother texture.
  • This dessert is best when allowed to chill overnight for the flavors to meld together.
