Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sugar
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- ½ cup strawberry jam
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
- Whip the Cream: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugar together until stiff peaks form.
- Mix the Mascarpone: Add the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract to the whipped cream, and mix until smooth and creamy.
- Prepare the Strawberry Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with the strawberry jam, stirring to coat the berries evenly.
- Layer the Tiramisu: Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of a serving dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers. Spoon half of the strawberry mixture over the mascarpone layer.
- Repeat Layers: Repeat the layers with another round of coffee-dipped ladyfingers, the remaining mascarpone mixture, and the remaining strawberry mixture, finishing with the mascarpone layer on top.
- Chill: Cover the tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.
- Serve: Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
