Description

A fun twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie, Smookies combine all the delicious elements of s’mores—graham crackers, Hershey’s chocolate, and marshmallows—wrapped in a gooey, indulgent cookie. A perfect treat for any sweet tooth!

Ingredients

  • For the Cookies:
  • 30 oz roll refrigerated Nestle Tollhouse chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 8 sheets graham crackers, broken in half to make 16 graham cracker halves
  • 8 bars Hershey’s milk chocolate bars – cut in half (1.55 oz each)
  • 16 marshmallows (cut in half)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking pan with parchment paper to prevent the cookies from sticking.
  2. Slice the cookie dough roll into ½-inch thick rounds, making about 16 cookie rounds.
  3. Cut the marshmallows in half to double up on the gooey goodness.
  4. Place 6-8 graham cracker halves on the baking sheet, leaving about 2-3 inches between each graham cracker.
  5. Lay a half of a Hershey’s chocolate bar over each graham cracker.
  6. Place 2 marshmallow halves (cut side down) over each piece of chocolate.
  7. Top each s’more with one cookie dough round, acting as the “lid” for the s’mores.
  8. Bake for 16-19 minutes. Soft-baked Smookies are done around 16-17 minutes, while crispier ones will need about 18-19 minutes.
  9. While the first batch cools, prepare the second batch with the remaining ingredients.

Notes

  • For extra gooeyness, add an additional marshmallow half on top before baking.
  • Be careful when handling these fresh out of the oven, as they can be very gooey.
  • You can substitute mini marshmallows for larger ones if preferred.
