Description
This quick and easy Smoked Cheese Dip blends smoked cheddar and gouda with sour cream for a rich, smoky, and creamy appetizer. Perfect as a dip for crackers or veggies, or as a unique spread for sandwiches, burgers, or pizza.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces smoked cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces smoked gouda cheese
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1–2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Set up a large food processor. Cut the smoked cheddar and gouda into chunks and place them in the processor.
- Pulse until the cheese is broken down into fine crumbs.
- Add sour cream, 1 tablespoon of sugar, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper.
- Purée until the dip is completely smooth.
- Taste and add another tablespoon of sugar if desired, then blend again briefly.
- Scoop the dip into a serving bowl and serve with bread, crackers, or veggies. Refrigerate if not serving immediately.

- Adjust the sugar and spice level to taste.
