Description

This Pecan Pie Bark is a quick and easy treat that brings the irresistible flavors of pecan pie into a crunchy, buttery form. Made with graham crackers, a gooey brown sugar butter mixture, and chopped pecans, this bark is the perfect dessert for holiday gift-giving, dessert tables, or anytime snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve (about 15) graham crackers, broken into squares
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1½ cups chopped pecans
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, ensuring the edges are covered to catch any drips. Arrange the graham cracker squares in a single layer to cover the entire baking sheet.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until fully dissolved and bubbling (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped pecans, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until the mixture is evenly combined.
  4. Pour the pecan mixture evenly over the graham crackers, spreading it gently to cover all the crackers.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the topping is bubbling and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow the bark to cool completely in the pan. Once fully cooled, break into irregular pieces.

Notes

  • Make sure to let the bark cool completely before breaking it apart for clean pieces.
  • Store the pecan pie bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
