Description

This creamy and indulgent Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake combines childhood flavors into a thick, delicious treat. Ready in just 5 minutes, it’s perfect for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry jelly or jam
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Sliced strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the milk to your blender first. This helps the blades move freely and prevents the peanut butter from sticking to the bottom.
  2. Measure the peanut butter and jelly into the blender. If the peanut butter is thick, let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes to help it blend smoothly.
  3. Add the vanilla ice cream, breaking it into smaller chunks if it’s very frozen. This helps the mixture achieve a smoother consistency faster.
  4. Blend on medium speed for 30-45 seconds until smooth. The mixture should be thick but pourable. If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk; if it’s too thin, add more ice cream.
  5. Taste the milkshake and adjust the sweetness by adding more jelly if desired. Blend briefly to incorporate.
  6. Pour the milkshake into 2 or 3 chilled glasses. Top with whipped cream and garnish with sliced strawberries, if desired. Serve immediately with thick straws.

Notes

  • For a thicker milkshake, add more ice cream; for a thinner one, add a little more milk.
  • Feel free to substitute the strawberry jelly with grape jelly or any other flavor you prefer.
  • Optional garnishes like crushed peanuts or additional peanut butter drizzle can enhance the flavor.
