Description

Flaky tilapia fillets coated in a golden, cheesy Parmesan crust with hints of paprika and fresh parsley — a quick and flavorful dish ideal for weeknights or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tilapia fillets (about 4 oz each)
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the Parmesan, paprika, parsley, and salt.
  3. Drizzle the tilapia fillets with olive oil, then dredge each piece in the cheese mixture, pressing lightly to ensure an even coating.
  4. Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the fish for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor.
  • This recipe works well with other mild white fish like cod or haddock.
