Description
Flaky tilapia fillets coated in a golden, cheesy Parmesan crust with hints of paprika and fresh parsley — a quick and flavorful dish ideal for weeknights or entertaining guests.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tilapia fillets (about 4 oz each)
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the Parmesan, paprika, parsley, and salt.
- Drizzle the tilapia fillets with olive oil, then dredge each piece in the cheese mixture, pressing lightly to ensure an even coating.
- Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the fish for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor.
- This recipe works well with other mild white fish like cod or haddock.
