Description

A quick and flavorful one-pan dinner with tender broccoli, sweet bell peppers, savory ground beef, and a rich stir-fry sauce—perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup white onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin slices
  • 3 cups broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces (fresh or frozen)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
  2. Heat olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, onion, and red bell pepper. Cook until beef is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the prepared sauce and add broccoli. Stir well and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 4–5 minutes, until broccoli is tender and sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For a low-carb option, serve over cauliflower rice or zucchini noodles.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes for your preferred spice level.
  • Frozen broccoli can be added directly to the skillet without thawing.
