Ingredients
- 1 sugar cookie mix (17.5 oz package)
- 1 instant butterscotch pudding mix (3.4 oz package)
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 package caramels (14 oz)
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup roasted macadamia nuts
- 1 cup roasted cashews
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together sugar cookie mix, butterscotch pudding mix, butter, and egg until a dough forms.
- Press dough evenly into an ungreased 9×13-inch baking pan. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until set.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the caramels with evaporated milk, stirring often until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in roasted macadamia nuts, cashews, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the caramel-nut mixture over the baked crust.
- Sprinkle butterscotch chips evenly on top. Let cool completely.
- Cut into bars and store in an airtight container.
