Description

A creamy and flavorful garlic parmesan sauce, this recipe is a copycat of the famous Buffalo Wild Wings sauce. Perfect for pasta, pizza, or as a dipping sauce, it’s a versatile addition to many dishes.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Kosher salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Whisk in the flour to form a paste, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  4. Slowly pour in the broth, whisking constantly to ensure the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  5. Bring the sauce to a low simmer over medium heat and cook for about 2 minutes, or until it thickens.
  6. Add the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Continue whisking until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed.
  8. Serve over pasta, on pizza, or as a dipping sauce for your favorite appetizers.

  • For a thicker sauce, reduce the amount of broth or simmer the sauce longer.
