Description
Tender, juicy chicken pieces seared to perfection and coated in a rich, garlicky butter sauce—ready in just 15 minutes for the ultimate weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 ¼–1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 3 large), cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces
- ¾ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning blend
- ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat chicken pieces dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle over chicken and toss to coat evenly.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken in a single layer and sear for 3–4 minutes without moving them. Flip and cook another 4–5 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F).
- Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute until garlic is fragrant and butter melted.
- Toss chicken in the garlic butter sauce until coated. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice blend for 15–30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread to soak up the garlic butter sauce.
- Ensure skillet is hot before adding chicken for a perfect sear.
