Ingredients
Dressing Ingredients
- ½ Cup White Miso
- ¼ Cup Avocado Oil
- ½ Cup Grated Carrots (packed, but more can be added to taste)
- 2 Tablespoons Grated Ginger
- 2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Toasted Sesame Oil
- 2 Teaspoons Maple Syrup or Honey
- ¼ Cup Water
- ½ Teaspoon Sea Salt
- ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 3 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds (optional but highly recommended)
Instructions
- Add Ingredients to Blender. Place all dressing ingredients except the sesame seeds into a high-speed blender for smooth consistency.
- Blend Until Desired Texture. Blend the mixture until it reaches your preferred smoothness; blend longer for a smoother texture or less for a bit of chunkiness with carrot pieces.
- Season to Taste. Taste the dressing and adjust the sea salt and black pepper as needed to balance the flavors.
- Incorporate Sesame Seeds. If using sesame seeds, stir them into the dressing by hand after blending to retain their crunch.
- Store Properly. Transfer the dressing to a jar and refrigerate. The dressing will keep fresh for up to one week.
- Serve and Enjoy. Use on salads, as a veggie dip, or enjoy a spoonful straight for a flavor-packed boost.
Notes
- Feel free to increase the amount of grated carrots to adjust texture and sweetness.
- Maple syrup can be substituted with honey for a non-vegan option.
- Use a high-speed blender for the best creamy texture, but a standard blender will work with longer blending.
- Store the dressing tightly sealed in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
- If you prefer a thinner dressing, add a little more water until you reach the desired consistency.
- Sesame seeds add a nice crunch and nutty flavor but can be omitted if desired.
