A comforting and easy one-pot meal, this Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing combines tender chicken with seasoned stuffing, onions, and a creamy chicken base. Perfect for a quick and hearty dinner.
Ingredients
- Stuffing Mix:
- 14 ounces dried seasoned stuffing cubes
- 1 medium sweet onion, diced
- ½ cup diced celery
- 20 ounces cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon ground sage
- Chicken:
- 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ teaspoon salt (more to taste)
- ½ teaspoon pepper (more to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare Slow Cooker: Spray a slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- Mix Ingredients: Add the stuffing mix, onion, celery, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Season: Sprinkle the sage evenly over the top.
- Add Chicken: Lay the chicken breasts on top of the stuffing mixture and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 hours 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Shred Chicken: Shred the chicken with two forks or remove it to a cutting board and slice into small pieces.
- Serve: Stir everything together and serve.
