Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded Italian blend cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (½ teaspoon if preferred less seasoned)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Italian blend cheese, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well combined.
- Prepare a 9×13 baking dish by spraying it with non-stick spray.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Evenly spread the garlic cream cheese mixture on top of each chicken breast using a spatula.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each piece of chicken.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheddar cheese has melted.
