Description

This Chicken Sandwich is a deliciously creamy and flavorful meal, perfect for a snack or quick lunch. Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded boiled chicken (boneless)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp fresh cream (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tsp mustard sauce or ½ tsp mustard powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped capsicum (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Chilli flakes or chopped green chilies (optional, to taste)
  • 6 slices of bread (white, brown, or multigrain)
  • Butter or ghee (for toasting)
  • Lettuce or cucumber slices (optional, for freshness)
  • Cheese slice or grated cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Filling: In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, mayo, cream (if using), mustard, onion, and capsicum. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Stir until everything is well combined into a creamy mixture.
  2. Assemble the Sandwich: Lightly butter one side of each bread slice. Spread a generous amount of the chicken mixture on one slice. Add lettuce, cucumber, or cheese if desired. Top with another slice of bread.
  3. Toast or Grill: Heat a tawa or sandwich maker and toast the sandwich until golden and crispy. For extra crispiness, butter the outside of the sandwich.
  4. Serve: Slice the sandwich in half or diagonally and serve hot with ketchup, chutney, or your favorite dip.
