Description
These Chicken Parmesan Sliders are the ultimate bite-sized treat, combining crispy chicken, zesty marinara sauce, and gooey melted mozzarella cheese. Perfect for parties, game day, or a fun family meal, these sliders are packed with flavor and easy to make!
Ingredients
- 2.5 pounds frozen Southern-style chicken breast tenderloins (prepared according to package directions)
- 15 ounces slider-sized buns (12-count)
- 1 ¼ cups jarred marinara sauce
- 6 sandwich-sized slices mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 ½ tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Prepare the frozen chicken breast tenderloins according to the package directions (bake on a baking sheet for 18-20 minutes). After cooking, remove the chicken from the oven and reduce the oven temperature to 350°F.
- Place the bottom halves of the slider buns into a 9×13-inch baking pan. Spread half of the marinara sauce over the bottom buns.
- Arrange the cooked chicken breast tenderloins on top of the sauce-covered buns in a solid layer. Cover as much of the surface as possible. Top the chicken with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Place the slices of mozzarella cheese evenly over the chicken. Place the top buns on top of the cheese-covered chicken.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic salt, and dried parsley flakes. Brush half of the melted butter mixture over the top of the slider buns. Reserve the remaining butter mixture for later.
- Bake the sliders for 13-15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the tops of the buns are lightly toasted.
- Remove from the oven and brush the tops of the buns with the remaining melted butter mixture. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese.
- Slice the sliders into 12 individual servings and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, top the sliders with fresh basil or a drizzle of extra marinara sauce before serving.
- These sliders are great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to keep the buns crispy.
