Ingredients

  • 8 slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread, crusts removed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional Dipping Sauces: Marinara sauce, Garlic herb sauce, Ranch dressing, Spicy ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and set aside.
  2. Using a rolling pin, gently flatten each slice of bread until thin and even.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly across the bottom third of each bread slice. Roll the bread tightly from the cheese side up to form a log. Seal the edge with a little melted butter if needed.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Place each rollup seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rollups are golden brown and crispy. If using an air fryer, cook at 360°F (180°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
