Ingredients
- 1 (12-ounce) package Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls
- 3 cups shredded cooked chicken breast (about 8 oz)
- 3/4 cup Buffalo hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
- 1/4 cup Greek-yogurt-based ranch dressing
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella, provolone, or Havarti cheese, divided
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Without separating the rolls, slice them in half horizontally. Place the bottom half on the baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and garlic powder until evenly combined.
- Sprinkle a small amount of cheese over the bottom rolls. Spread the Buffalo chicken mixture evenly on top, then sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the chicken.
- Mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing apart with a serrated knife. Serve warm.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Substitute ranch with blue cheese dressing for a tangier twist.
- For extra heat, add chopped jalapeños to the chicken mix.
